Mr. Al Mazroui obtained his higher education at the American University, Washington DC, and was a member of the faculty of Political Science and Administration at the UAE University from 1980 to 1988.

He was the Chairman of Dubai Transport Corporation from 1994 to 2000. He is currently a Member of the Board of Directors of Middle East Bank, Diners Club (UAE) and Network International. Mr. Al Mazroui has recently been appointed as Secretary General for the Arab Centre for Communication and International Relations (Arab Businessmen Forum). He is also Chief Manager at the Emirates Bank Group.
