Ahmed Humaid Al Tayer , The Chairman of Emirates Bank meets
with Al Tomooh Supreme Committee Members (SCM).
Al
Tomooh Supreme Committee meeting has been held on 25 March
2003, to review Al Tomooh's achievements during the last
period.

H.E.Ahmed Humaid Al Tayer ,The Chairman of Al Tomooh SC,
H.E. Abdul Rahman Al Mutwaiee (SCM), H.E. Mohammed Bin Ali
Al Abbar (SCM), Mr. Sulaiman Al Mazroui (SCM), Mr. Abdulwahid
Al Fahim (GM), Mr. Salah Mohd Amin (TMH MGR), Mr. Bassam
Daoud (CRD MGR) and Amal Moustafa (TMH Coordinator) were
present at the meeting.
Al
Mazroui pointed out that Al Tomooh Finance is already yielding
results: "42 projects have already been financed and
operational in Dubai, with more to come. These are engaged
in various businesses and industrial activities.

Mr.
Al Mazroui also indicated that HE Ahmed Al Tayer stressed
that the young nationals have great skills and strong well
to achieve success. They only need support and encouragement.
This represents the core values that Al Tomooh Scheme aims
at providing. HE Al Tayer also added that at this stage
AL Tomooh management will enhance its marketing plans and
will coordinate with both The Economic Dept and the Dubai
Chamber of Commerce on further putting together new strategy
for new projects..

Mr.
Salah Amin -Al Tomooh Manager declared that 5 new projects
have been approved during the meeting, to be financed by
Al Tomooh with capital of 2 Million Dirhams.
1) Emirates Media Training Company (EMTC)
Activities:
EMTC
is a partnership between three UAE nationals (A) Mr. Abdul
Hamid Ahmed Al Zarouni (B) Mr. Obaid Sultan and (C) Mr.
Saeed Hamdan Mutrif .
The
basic activity of the company is providing training services
and consulting. Although, training would be the cornerstone
of their activities, they will also provide consulting services
at a later stage. They intend to associate themselves with
highly reputable media training institutes from Europe &
the US, who will assist them by providing experienced and
professional lecturers to conduct the training courses.
They plan to offer their services from a leased office in
Dubai.
2)
Auto Repair Garage (ARC)
ARC to be a proprietorship concern of Mr. Masood Rashid
al Suwaidi (UAE national).
Activities
The company will be primarily engaged in (a) auto-mechanic
repair & maintenance services (b) auto-body & paint
repair services, done with a paint booth (c) auto-electric
repair & maintenance. The company will be capable of
servicing most types/models of automobiles, with models
serviced ranging from 1989 to 2000. However, they intend
to focus on vehicles of the following make: Mercedes, Toyota
(Land Cruiser), BMW & Audi.

Al Maraya International Trading Co. LLC (AMIT)
AMIT was established in May 02 as a partnership between
two UAE nationals namely Mr. Bader Rashed Bin Tamim and
Mr. Rashed Ibrahim Al Muhaisini.
Activities
The basic activity of the company will be the import and
sale of branded quality cosmetic and beauty products under
the name 'Lumene'. 60% of their sales will be on retail
basis through shop-in-shop already established in reputed
department stores like Life Style, Al Maya Lals, and Fotoohi
Discount Center & Orchid Plaza. The remaining 40% will
be on wholesale basis to various outlets in the UAE, on
credit terms ranging between 60-90 days, on open account
as well as against PDCs. The company's wholesale customers
will comprise of the major supermarket chains such as Carrefour,
Union Co-op and cosmetic and beauty care outlets & beauty
salon shops.
4) Al Wakeel School Supplies (AWSL)
AWSL is a proprietorship concern of Mr. Essa Al Suwaidi
(UAE national).
Activities
The company will be engaged in supply of teaching materials,
equipment & accessories for schools such as PCs, projectors,
scanners, flip chart, science kits, and conference accessories.
Operations will be mainly retail with sales of these items
conducted through the promoter's new showroom to be established
in Bur Dubai

Faris & Company (FRC)
Activities
Faris
& Co. was established in Dubai in 1995 as a partnership
concern of Mr. Ahmed Bin Fares(UAE) and Mohammed Humaid
Al Marri (UAE). The company is primarily engaged in offering
(a) Accounting & auditing services (b) Financial expertise
consulting & business valuations (c) Management consulting
& preparing feasibility studies. The company presently
maintains a customer base of over 60 clients, who represent
small and mid-size companies engaged in various economic
and non-profit activities in Dubai.
